About the Role
Provide patient-centered care in a 30-bed adult acute care unit specializing in General Medical Surgical and Telemetry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Assist with admissions, medication administration, and resource needs.
- Monitor patients using continuous non-invasive telemetry.
- Ensure patient safety and high-quality care based on current policies and best practices.
- Serve as a healthcare team leader and establish authentic patient relationships.
- Provide safe, evidence-based care to diverse patient populations, including cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and post-procedure patients.
- Support optimal health outcomes or peaceful end-of-life care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- One year of acute nursing experience.
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Reactivation of licensure requires a refresher course if inactive for five or more years.
