Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high‑quality care that truly impacts patients' well‑being and recovery. You will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team is essential to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Adhere to department and hospital policies, including safety, risk management, and regulatory standards.
• Administer, oversee, and document medications (topical, oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous) as ordered and per hospital policy.
• Assess patients holistically—physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental, and spiritual needs—and gather relevant data.
• Implement appropriate patient interventions, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Prepare patients for discharge and coordinate post‑discharge needs.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, using communication tools effectively and understanding how patient cultures affect care.
• Provide care to the specific patient populations served by the department, applying specialized knowledge and skills.
• Document care delivered and patient status using the nursing process in accordance with FHS standards.
• Receive and verify the appropriateness, accuracy, timeliness, and execution of physician orders.
• Engage in professional growth opportunities and meet mandatory requirements by stated deadlines.

Job Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (required upon hire).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State (required upon hire).
• Basic Life Support – CPR certification through the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and at least one year of related work experience in an acute care setting (upon hire).

Pay Range

$48.36 – $85.71 per hour
