Medical Surgical RN

Job Summary

You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will assess, perform skilled procedures, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Detect and recognize acute changes, escalate or address concerns, and monitor critical results.
• Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions and regimens, including starting and maintaining intravenous therapies, administering medication, and ensuring patient safety.
• Manage rapidly changing situations by identifying, assessing, and anticipating patient needs.
• Prioritize, coordinate, and meet multiple patient needs in a timely manner.
• Contribute to a healing environment, provide patient comfort and support, serve as a patient advocate, and build a therapeutic environment.
• Assess and evaluate patient readiness and ability to learn, explain patient conditions and illnesses, and interpret their illness.

Job Requirements

• Nursing degree or equivalent, required upon hire.
• Registered Nurse (RN), required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR, required upon hire.
• Preferred additional certifications: Bachelor's of Nursing degree, preferred upon hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), preferred upon hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), preferred upon hire.

$30.76 - $45.76 /hour
