Job Summary

As a Med Surg Charge Nurse, you will be a central figure in patient care, seamlessly navigating the healthcare journey to achieve optimal outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate day-to-day operations of the Unit.
• Collaborate with staff, Nurse Managers, team leaders, supervisors, and physicians to ensure quality patient care is being provided with optimum patient outcomes.
• Have a talent for planning and coordinating which patients and their loved ones appreciate.
• Think critically, creatively, and unconventionally when necessary.
• Coordinate care between multiple patients while keeping your entire healthcare team on track with shared goals.

Required Job Requirements

• 2 years recent Nursing experience in area of specialty
• Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
• Preferred Bachelors Of Nursing, upon hire and Admission to a BSN program within one year, or obtainment of a Bachelor degree, 24 - months
• Participation in Nursing Career Advancement Program and 1 year charge/management experience
