About the role
The Medical Support Assistant (MSA) at CHI Lakeside ENT Clinic serves as a vital first point of contact, ensuring seamless patient flow and administrative efficiency within our healthcare setting. You will manage patient interactions and support operational needs.Responsibilities
- Assists with general patient care following established clinic workflows.
- Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by completing intake duties such as documenting the patient’s reason for visit, obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing documented drug allergies, asking if patient is taking medications listed in EMR, and completing appropriate screening questionnaires.
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
- Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.
- Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately.
Requirements
- Successful completion of State Health Department approved CNA program, upon hire
- Successful completion of State Health Department approved Emergency Medical Responder training program upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

- Proficiency in medical administrative procedures and relevant software
- Empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions
