The Medical Sonographer in the Ultrasound Department performs a variety of sonographic imaging according to approved protocols, ensuring high-quality images and proper documentation. They prioritize patient safety and comfort, addressing both mental and physical needs during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs sonographic imaging according to approved protocols

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved Sonography Program
• ARDMS certification or eligibility
• Passing one registry within 18 months of employment, with potential termination if not achieved

Schedule

• Scheduled for 80 hours bi-weekly
• Works day shifts from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
