About the role

The Medical Sonographer in the Ultrasound Department performs a variety of sonographic imaging according to approved protocols, ensuring high-quality images and proper documentation. They are responsible for maintaining patient safety, comfort, and well-being during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs sonographic imaging according to approved protocols
• Ensures high-quality images and proper documentation
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and well-being during procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Sonography Program
• Holding ARDMS certification or being registry eligible
• Passing one registry exam within 18 months of employment to avoid possible termination

Schedule

• Day shifts
• Working hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
• Authorized schedule of 80 hours bi-weekly
