The Medical Sonographer in the Ultrasound Department performs a variety of sonographic images in accordance with approved protocols, ensuring high-quality images and thorough documentation. They prioritize patient safety and comfort, addressing both mental and physical needs during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs sonographic imaging in accordance with approved protocols
• Ensures high-quality images are produced
• Thoroughly documents all procedures
• Prioritizes patient safety and comfort

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Sonography Program
• Holding ARDMS certification or being registry eligible
• Passing at least one registry within 18 months of employment to avoid possible termination

Schedule

• Day shifts
• From 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Authorization of 80 hours bi-weekly
