Medical Services Coordinator

Job Summary

The Medical Services Coordinator serves as a point of contact to coordinate medical care, providing support to patients and psychiatric clinicians, ensuring quality customer service to in-person and remote patients and clinicians.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence
• Provide strong customer service
• Communicate with peers, clinicians, and patients
• Patient Support
• Assist psychiatric clinicians with necessary aspects of patient care
• Facilitate communication between patient, medical staff, and pharmacy
• Manage phone systems
• Aid psychiatric clinicians in termination process
• Clinician Support
• Assist clinicians with administrative questions
• Aid in coordination of external referrals

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in using computer software applications
• Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information (HIPAA)

Education And Experience

• High School or equivalent required
• Associates/bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or similar role or setting preferred

Compensation

$18.50 -19.25/hourly, plus quarterly bonus/incentive potential
