Medical Secretary-Lab
Responsibilities
Distribution of cases to our pathologists.
Coordinating send out of materials for external testing or patient continuation of care.
Assisting with result management, when needed, to ensure accurate and timely case completion for our patients.
Requirements
- Four (4) years of clerical experience.
- A Medical Secretary certificate may substitute for experience requirement.
- One year experience with completion of course work in medical legal guidelines, business communications, and medical office procedures.
Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Education: Medical Secretary Program completion preferred.
