Medical Secretary/ Assistant

In this dual role, you will ensure seamless patient care and office operations by managing front-office administrative duties and providing limited patient services under the direction of our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, and providing a welcoming experience for all visitors.
- Prepare medical charts and collect necessary third-party payment information.
- Record charges, process payments, and assist in maintaining accurate financial transactions.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient visits, performing designated procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Provide limited direct patient services, ensuring a positive and efficient patient experience.
- Collaborate with Nursing Support Staff to address front-line clinical and nursing concerns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in handling clerical tasks and medical record systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience in a medical office setting preferred but not required

Schedule
Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
