Medical Scribe (Part Time)
Position Overview
Aid orthopaedic physicians in outpatient clinics by taking notes and documenting patient visits. Create clinic notes that must be reviewed by the physician and saved into the electronic medical record. Interact with the physician and team to enhance clinic flow. Adhere to University Healthcare policies and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months experience as a Medical Scribe or 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Shifts
Clinics operate between 8-5pm Monday-Friday. Morning shifts are from 8-12pm and afternoon shifts 1-5pm. Part-time scribes must work a minimum of three shifts per week.
