About the Role

The Hematology Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior MSL is a field-based scientific expert responsible for building relationships with healthcare professionals, supporting Genmab's products and pipeline in oncology and hematology. They develop territory plans aligned with regional and global strategies, provide scientific education, and communicate clinical data in a fair, balanced manner. The role includes supporting product launches, facilitating investigator-sponsored trials, and representing the company at scientific meetings. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of clinical trends are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key thought leaders in assigned territories (IL/WI).
  • Develop and implement scientific engagement plans.
  • Share scientific insights and clinical data to support appropriate product use.
  • Educate healthcare providers on disease states and products.
  • Support investigator-sponsored and company-sponsored clinical trials.
  • Coordinate and facilitate investigator-initiated trials and advisory boards.
  • Represent the company at scientific conferences and meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support product and trial activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of clinical developments and regulatory guidelines.
  • Serve as a scientific resource for commercial teams when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Advanced medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) preferred; clinical backgrounds with hematology/oncology experience considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Medical Affairs or MSL experience in oncology/hematology.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare environments and clinical data.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations (FDA, GCP, HIPAA, etc.) and MS Office proficiency.
