About the role

Neuromuscular Medical Science Liaisons are needed to engage in scientific dialogues with clinical physicians, staff, and other stakeholders on behalf of a client. The role requires advanced clinical/medical degrees, one year of MSL experience or neurology/Duchenne muscular dystrophy clinical experience, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Medical Relations and KOLs regarding investigator-initiated trials
  • Develop strategic communications and other materials supporting product information
  • Support the use of client’s products through HCP advocacy development and implementation of peer influence programs
  • Develop and maintain strong scientific knowledge of the current competitive landscape and competitive messaging
  • Presents clinical data to healthcare professionals (scientific peer to peer)
  • Supports advisory events to ensure accuracy of and clinician access to up-to-date scientific and clinical data
  • Attends medical congresses to develop relationships, build advocacy, and present key data
  • Represents the client at scientific congresses and/or advisory boards in association with Medical & Professional Relations

Requirements

Residence within the current geography is required. Proven track record of success, knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics, demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences, and demonstrated level of proficiency with support technology (PC and CRM tools, Microsoft Teams) are required.

Qualifications

Advanced clinical/medical degree (Pharm D, MD, PhD) from an accredited college or university preferred, Master’s Degree required.

Skills

Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences, demonstrated level of proficiency with support technology (PC and CRM tools, Microsoft Teams), proven track record of success, knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics.

Pay

The potential base pay range for this role is $175,000-$200,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).

Schedule

Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
