About the role
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) identifies, develops, and maintains collaborative relationships with national and regional medical and scientific key opinion leaders (KOLs). The MSL serves as the scientific and clinical expert, providing accurate, balanced, and scientifically rigorous information about ADMA products and associated disease states to KOLs, healthcare professionals, formulary decision makers, and internal partners. The role contributes to product development, brand planning, and supports clinical research activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide current clinical and research-related information on ADMA’s product portfolio, including efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetic, and pharmacoeconomic profiles of marketed and pipeline products, as well as disease state management (hepatitis B, primary/secondary immunodeficiency, transplantation, and infections in immunocompromised hosts).
- Deliver relevant clinical and competitive pipeline information to the medical and research community.
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs in a specific geographic region through structured contact and onsite visits.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information from healthcare providers.
- Assist in identifying potential investigators and sites for company-sponsored clinical trials and support investigator-initiated research proposals.
- Provide clinical expertise to internal departments as needed.
- Deliver formal presentations on scientific information to KOLs and other stakeholders in public and private settings.
- Support product consideration on drug lists and formularies with population health decision makers.
- Collaborate with medical and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with FDA and other regulatory requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, market access) to align medical strategies with business goals.
- Conduct competitive surveillance of disease states and products in ADMA’s areas of commercialization and pipeline development.
- Attend scientific conferences to gather, analyze, and synthesize new scientific information relevant to ADMA products and disease states.
- Develop and manage Advisory Boards and Key Opinion Leader Programs.
Requirements
- Advanced medical degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, NP, PA, RPh) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of MSL experience and/or equivalent clinical practice/research experience in immunology, pulmonology/respiratory, infectious disease, and/or transplant (HSCT or SOT).
- Preferred: 3+ years of MSL experience or equivalent clinical/research experience in the specified therapeutic areas.
Compliance

- Completion of required compliance training and accurate documentation of interactions.
- Adherence to data privacy regulations and proactive participation in compliance reviews.
- Prompt reporting of potential compliance issues and ongoing education on FDA regulations.
