Responsibilities

  • Establishes oneself as a trusted scientific advisor, peer and expert by both internal stakeholders and external HCPs (e.g., functions as an expert in response to scientific questions)
  • Synthesizes HCP insights from multiple HCP segments within a region and communicates with internal partners
  • Serves as point of reference for the integration of science into proposed business strategies, training, and resources
  • Synthesizes and integrates research, and summarizes findings, in a compelling narrative for various HCP segments
  • Buils strong collaboration with key stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Development
  • Serves as a lead for clinical trials, research activities, and special projects
  • Coaches other team members, provides input on MSL training content, assists with MSL onboarding and leads MSLs in their responsibilities for congress scientific coverage and data synthesis support

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree required (i.e., Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, PA or NP) in a relevant health science or clinical field
  • 2+ years experience as a Medical Science Liaison or relevant experience in the therapeutic area
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering customer-related outcomes in targeted field/territory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate scientific data to internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management ability
  • Ability to work independently and in groups
  • Ability to travel (40-60% by car and plane domestic)

Qualifications

  • Doctorate strongly preferred in a health science or clinical discipline
  • Prior Medical Science Liaison experience
  • Oncology experience
  • Hematology experience

  • Annual base salary range: $174,455 - $261,682

Pay

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $174,455-$261,682. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
