About the role
The incumbent retrieves documentation from various nursing units and ancillary departments and scans into the electronic medical record in a timely manner, accurately indexing each document according to document type and patient.
Responsibilities
- Reviews medical records for compliant documentation, assigning and tracking deficiencies as necessary.
- Processes requests for Release of Information assuring compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
