Medical Records
Position Responsibilities
- Scan all medical documents and insert into appropriate patient medical records.
- Handle all incoming faxes, ensuring they are distributed to the correct person or department.
- Prepare conference books for physician legal appointments.
- Process records requests and FMLA/Disability forms.
- Assist Work Comp insurance specialists as needed.
- Answer Medical Records-related phone calls.
- Fill in for the Switchboard Operator as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous medical records experience in a medical office is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- The ability to work well within a team and collaborate with medical professionals.

Pay
The pay range displayed for this position represents the pay range for all positions that are classified in this job grade. Individual pay will depend on a wide range of factors such as candidate skills, experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and alignment with company benchmarks. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
