About the Role
As a Medical Receptionist on the Physician Services team, you will provide front office support in a physician office, answer phones promptly and courteously, schedule patients, verify insurance eligibility, and collect patient co‑payments.
Responsibilities
- Provide front office support in a physician office.
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, take accurate messages, and forward or respond to inquiries as appropriate.
- Schedule all patients according to policy and procedures.
- Collect, verify, and enter insurance eligibility into the practice management system.
- Collect patient co‑payments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
