Medical Receptionist - Pediatrics

About the role

Fauquier Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Medical Receptionist for the Physician Services team at Warrenton Pediatrics. The role supports board‑certified providers delivering a wide range of specialties in a small‑town setting, emphasizing strong provider‑patient relationships and community health.

Responsibilities

• Provide front office support in a physician office.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, take accurate messages, and forward or respond to inquiries as appropriate.
• Schedule patients in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Collect, verify, and enter insurance eligibility information into the practice management system.
• Collect patient co‑payments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Pay

Hourly range: $18‑$20.
