Medical Receptionist Orthopedics

Job Summary

As a Receptionist, you will be the welcoming heart of our facility, creating a comforting and efficient environment for every patient journey. Every day, you will expertly manage patient reception, coordinate essential administrative tasks, leverage technology for seamless operations, and thoughtfully guide diverse patient populations, ensuring they feel at ease and understand their care instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental deposit logs, prepare routine schedules and reports, utilize analytical skills necessary to maintain provider schedules
• Ensures positive customer service atmosphere and interactions in reception areas
• Oversees waiting area
• Answers the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner
• Coverage of patient movement, reports problems or irregularities
• Working knowledge of multi-line phones
• Working knowledge of computers, fax/copy machines
• Completes full patient registration in IDX when registering new patients. Ensures all patient information is updated and current when following up/interacting with patients.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and/or benefits.

Job Requirements

• Required High School Graduate/GED
• Basic computer skills
• Google Suites based programs
• Preferred Previous medical office and/or insurance experience
• Bi-lingual skills

Pay Range

$18.00 - $22.19 /hour
