Essential Position Duties
- Greets warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators, and any external connections.
- Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Answers phones and greets patients with the utmost professionalism and care in a timely manner and returns VMs same day received.
- Maintains a higher than 85% answer call rate.
- Participates in and adheres to, as required, the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group.
- Escalates patient issues and concerns, as needed, to local Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management.
- Schedules patient’s initial evaluations and follow up visits through plan of care.
Minimum Position Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Raintree PMS experience is a plus;
- Possess strong relationship building and customer service skills;
- Ability to maintain confidential documents;
- Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions, identifying and sharing relevant information, and soliciting feedback from others and giving and receiving feedback objectively;
- Possess strong team player attributes;
- Ability to multi-task responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with the patients nearby.
Education And Experience
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (Must be 18+)
- Experience: Practice Management System knowledge, patient scheduling capabilities, and insurance plan understanding.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment.
- Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and present reports.
