Medical Receptionist - Float

The Medical Receptionist at MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network supports clinics in Pierce, King, and Thurston Counties. This position requires excellent customer service skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor.

About the role

This is an intermediate-level position that involves a variety of front office duties such as greeting patients, answering phones, assisting with scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment processing, and operating office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and answer phones
• Direct calls and assist patients/families
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records
• Register patients and process payments
• Enter charges and reconcile accounts
• Operate various office equipment

Requirements

• Post-high school office procedures preferred
• One (1) year of clerical/receptionist experience, or six (6) months in a medical setting
• Customer service experience
• Preferred degree or relevant certificate (Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator)

• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay and Schedule
