Job Description

The role of the Patient Coordinator is to answer patients and nurses in a timely manner. A successful Patient Coordinator should be able to communicate efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to ensure that the company's staffing requirements are always met, and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and monitor incoming text messages from patients
• Triage calls or messages internally to the appropriate staff
• Possess excellent communication and written skills to effectively speak to employees, patients and pharmacies
• Document notes and medical records
• Prepare and submit reports on pharmacy operation

Education And/or Experience Requirements

• College degree preferred
• 2+ years experience working in healthcare

Basic Qualifications

• Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open referrals simultaneously
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills
• Communicate in a timely manner
