Medical Receptionist Cardiology

About the Role

As a Receptionist, you will be the welcoming heart of our facility, creating a comforting and efficient environment for every patient journey. You will expertly manage patient reception, coordinate essential administrative tasks, leverage technology for seamless operations, and thoughtfully guide diverse patient populations, ensuring they feel at ease and understand their care instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental deposit logs, prepare routine schedules and reports, and utilize analytical skills necessary to maintain provider schedules
• Ensure a positive customer service atmosphere and interactions in reception areas
• Oversee the waiting area
• Answer the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner
• Coordinate patient movement and report problems or irregularities
• Demonstrate working knowledge of multi-line phones

Requirements

• High School Graduate/GED
• Basic computer skills
• Proficiency in Outlook, Windows-based, and Google Suites-based programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous medical office and/or insurance experience
• Bi-lingual skills
