Medical Receptionist
About the role
Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking Medical Receptionists to join their team in Little Rock, AR.
Responsibilities
- Welcome all patients and visitors by greeting them in person, answering inquiries and directing them through the registration process
- Answer multi-line phones, file, fax, scan documentation and complete daily patient callbacks
- Check in and discharge patients, assist clinical staff and close the office at the end of each shift
- Collect all insurance information, verify patient demographics, process payments, post patient balances and complete phone sheets
- Maintain a neat and clean work environment and professional appearance
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records
- Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred

About Baptist Health Urgent Care
Baptist Health Urgent Care, part of the Urgent Team, operates 23 locations in Arkansas and provides quality, affordable family healthcare at more than 80 locations across the Southeast. Their centers offer a range of services including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. They are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Additionally, all Baptist Health Urgent Care centers are Accredited Care Centers.
