Medical Receptionist

About the role

The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The role performs basic administrative, clerical, operational, customer support, and computational tasks, typically working on routine and patterned assignments. You will report onsite to the Clinic Administrator at the Conviva Care Center located at 18414 US Hwy 281 N, Suite 104, San Antonio, TX 78259.

Responsibilities

• Receive and route incoming and outgoing telephone calls accurately and courteously.
• Accommodate visitors promptly and professionally.
• Perform basic administrative, clerical, operational, customer support, and computational tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year or more of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred, but candidates with a strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, call centers, etc., will be considered.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).

Qualifications

• Value-based care model experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
• Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records) (preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).

• If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based upon company and/or individual performance.
