About the role

As Care Coordinator II, you will ensure that our patients are well served and enjoy a long-term relationship with our practice. You will act as a liaison between the Revenue Cycle Center and the patients, working with them to ensure they receive the treatment they need.

Responsibilities

  • Generate estimated patient financial responsibility
  • Converse with patients regarding coverage and benefits
  • Collect initial patient portion of finance responsibility
  • Maintain discretion regarding patient health information
  • Schedule treatments
  • Coordinate patient care
  • Properly route patient inquiries
  • Reconcile collections
  • Ensure administrative data collection accuracy

Requirements

  • Medical receptionist experience
  • Knowledge of medical insurance benefits & coverage

Skills

  • Friendly
  • Proven working experience as a medical secretary
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
