About the role

We are hiring a part-time Patient Service Representative/Medical Receptionist to work primarily weekends from 8am-5pm. Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they enter the center, making them feel welcomed.
• Provide patients with necessary forms, offering explanations and assistance as needed.
• Register patients by entering demographic and insurance information accurately into our electronic medical record system.
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect and record receipt of co-pays.
• Answer telephone calls and relay messages as needed.
• Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and scanning.
• Assist in ensuring efficient patient flow through the center.
• Handle other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with computers; experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• 2-3 years of customer service experience; medical reception experience preferred.
• Available to work predominantly weekends from 8am-5pm.
