About the Role

This role is responsible for the evaluation of donors’ eligibility for automated plasmapheresis procedures. It includes administering and supervising approved immunizations in accordance with state regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The position also provides limited emergency care as permitted by licensure or certification, training, and SOPs. Working knowledge of all operational areas within the plasma center is required. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with SOPs, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and all relevant regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent discussions in accordance with SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in the donor management system (NexLynk).
• Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as allowed by training and licensure.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results, donor eligibility concerns, and immunization orders.
