Responsibilities
- Perform thorough history and physical examinations
- Deliver cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine
- Adhere to approved standardized orders and practice guidelines
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and referring physicians
- Evaluate and implement patient healthcare needs through comprehensive assessments
- Manage treatment programs, including initiating prescriptions and tests
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and agencies for coordinated patient care
Qualifications
- MD or DO licensed by the state licensure board
- Board Certified/Eligible in specialty
- Graduate of an accredited medical school with residency completed
- Current or recent experience in specialty area
- Understanding of growth and development relating to patient age
