Medical/Oncology - Clinical Nurse (Nights)

About the Role

This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on post-treatment care and medication.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans across the care continuum.
• Assess and address physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients, respecting patient preferences.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safety-sensitive work environment with alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure required.
• No prior experience necessary; preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.

Schedule

Night shifts with self-scheduling in six-week blocks.
