Medical Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Medical Oncologist to provide coverage in a multidisciplinary cancer care setting. This role involves on-site work with no call requirement, focusing on delivering quality cancer care within established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Managing both outpatient clinics and inpatient care during day shifts
• Handling a patient volume of 16-20 in the clinic and approximately 5 inpatient cases daily
• Maintaining accurate documentation using the EPIC EMR system
• Providing prescriptive authority and managing adult patient care
• Handling around 5 new consults daily
• Contributing to comprehensive patient treatment in a collaborative environment

Requirements

• Board certification in medical oncology
• Ability to work independently in a clinical setting
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and prescriptive authority

Schedule

Day shifts, on-site work with no call requirement.
