About the Role
Minnesota Oncology is seeking an experienced BC/BE Medical Oncologist for a robust rural practice based in its Waconia clinic. The group is a multi-disciplinary, private physician-led medical practice specializing in hematology and oncology with over 70 providers across multiple specialties, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, plastic surgery, colorectal surgery, breast surgery, and thoracic surgery. The practice serves patients in fourteen clinic locations across the Twin Cities metro area and Hudson, Wisconsin.
Waconia, Minnesota, is a growing community of about 15,000 residents, located 30 minutes west of Minneapolis. It offers access to Lake Waconia, 18 community parks, strong schools, and a charming small-town atmosphere. The Waconia clinic is a close-knit, fully staffed team of physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), nurses, and clinical support personnel.
Responsibilities
- Primary practice location at the Waconia clinic, located on the Ridgeview Hospital campus.
- Provide outreach support to Glencoe and Arlington, delivering quality cancer care to rural communities.
- Work with robust APP and Nurse Care Coordinator support.
- Eligible for shareholder track.
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Medical Oncology.
- Willing to travel to Glencoe and Arlington.
Pay
$425,000 - $575,000 annual salary.
