Medical Office Nurse - Middleboro Urgent Care

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage and assessment
• Renders patient care within the scope of their training, including administering immunizations and allergy injections, performing blood draws, and obtaining height, weight, and blood pressure on all patients and documenting appropriately in patient’s chart.
• Affords assistance to physicians with minor procedures.
• Prepares exam rooms and restocks supplies.
• Enters required information for prescription refills properly through electronic medical record.

Requirements

• Current RN license to practice in state of Massachusetts.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Medical Office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.

• Excellent communications skills to effectively educate and assist patients as well as interacting with providers and staff.
• Able to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Able to handle confidentiality information.
• Organizational skills and the ability to follow through on tasks.

Benefits

• Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.

Pay

• Pay Range: $30.00 – $44.58
• The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
