Medical Malpractice/ Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Position Overview

The legal team is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join the Medical Malpractice Defense Department. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced partners and develop skills in all aspects of medical malpractice defense.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in New York
• 2-4 years of medical malpractice litigation defense experience, including depositions and discovery, motion practice, records review, and trial prep
• Admission in New Jersey is a plus
• Proficient in online research, electronic billing codes, and medical records review
• Excellent writing skills, organization, and multitasking skills
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and prioritize work tasks in an effective manner
• Comfortable working with all levels of business professionals, including senior management and all colleagues at other departments in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
