Founded nearly 30 years ago and based in Toledo, with additional offices in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York, we are a 50-attorney business defense firm with a footprint throughout the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. We represent some of the most prominent names in retail, healthcare, transportation, logistics, and manufacturing — and we've built that client base by doing genuinely excellent legal work across complex, high-exposure matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of medical malpractice defense litigation from initial filing through resolution
• Draft pleadings, respond to written discovery, prepare motions, and negotiate settlements
• Appear in court conferences, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions
• Prepare witnesses and manage trial preparation independently
• Serve as primary contact for corporate clients and insurers
• Manage assigned caseload independently across complex, high-exposure matters

Requirements

• Ohio Bar admission
• 2-10 years of medical malpractice experience
