Medical Malpractice Attorney

About the role

The Miami, Florida, office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its expanding Medical Malpractice practice group. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience, preferably in Med Mal and with substantial personal trial advocacy experience. Highly experienced trial advocates in other complex litigation areas may be considered. Candidates must be active members in good standing of the Florida Bar.

Responsibilities

• Participate in case development, trial strategy, and trying cases under the guidance of experienced HBS Med Mal litigators.
• Work on a variety of complex litigation matters, including medical malpractice cases.
• Assist in developing legal strategies and preparing for trials.
• Contribute to the success of existing cases and help build new cases.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience, preferably in Medical Malpractice.
• Substantial personal trial advocacy experience.
• Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
