Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney

Position Overview

Drafting, reviewing, and responding to discovery documents and motions
Arguing motions in court
Taking, defending, and summarizing depositions
Interviewing witnesses and preparing summaries of those meetings
Reviewing and summarizing medical records, HR records, and documents produced in discovery
Preparing cases for trial, including drafting trial documents, motions in limine, and other required filings
Conducting legal and medical research

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the California Bar
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A self-directed, proactive approach to case management
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
