About the role

Join Medical’s leading heat shrink department as a Medical Maintenance Mechanic. We seek a self-motivated, skilled troubleshooter to join our best-in-class maintenance team on a temporary basis. Key Responsibilities

  • Strictly adhere to all safety standards and practices (including LOTO, arc flash, and stop work authority)
  • Independently diagnose and resolve a wide range of machine issues—electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal, and controls
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery and sub-systems, completing documentation accurately and on time
  • Respond rapidly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
  • Support spare parts management: locate, order, and track parts for various machines, maintaining organized records
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet operational goals
  • Communicate work status and actions clearly using written, verbal, and visual methods
  • Consistently uphold quality and compliance requirements for medical device manufacturing

Required Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing advanced 24/7 production equipment
  • Proven problem-solving ability and customer service mindset supporting the production floor
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with PC-based systems in a networked environment; working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Word & Excel, and CMMS software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting/programming and industrial computer/software corrections
  • Ability to read and edit electrical or mechanical drawings using CAD software
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Background working in medical device manufacturing or other highly regulated industries
