Medical Maintenance Mechanic

Key Responsibilities
- Strictly adhere to all safety standards and practices (including LOTO, arc flash, and stop work authority)
- Independently diagnose and resolve a wide range of machine issues—electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal, and controls
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery and sub-systems, completing documentation accurately and on time
- Respond rapidly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
- Support spare parts management: locate, order, and track parts for various machines, maintaining organized records
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet operational goals
- Communicate work status and actions clearly using written, verbal, and visual methods
- Consistently uphold quality and compliance requirements for medical device manufacturing
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing advanced 24/7 production equipment
- Proven problem-solving ability and customer service mindset supporting the production floor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Proficiency with PC-based systems in a networked environment; working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Word & Excel, and CMMS software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting/programming and industrial computer/software corrections
- Ability to read and edit electrical or mechanical drawings using CAD software
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Background working in medical device manufacturing or other highly regulated industries
