Medical Laboratory Technologist PRN

Department: 60901 Navicent Health Medical Center: Baldwin | Part-time, non-benefits eligible | As needed, minimum 16 hours per week | 1 major and 1 minor holiday required

About the role

Performs laboratory analysis on received specimens, providing clinical information for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Responsible for overall quality, efficiency, and safety in the performance of assigned technical duties.

Pay

$25.30 - $37.95 per hour

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, including a minimum of 30 quarter hours of lecture science (at least 15 quarter hours of chemistry, 10 quarter hours of biology, and 5 quarter hours of math)
• Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT, MLS, CLT, CLS) by the Board of Registry (ASCP, AMT, AAB with 15 years of experience, NCA, HHS certification, or equivalent)
• If registry eligible, must pass an approved certification exam within twelve (12) months of placement in this occupational classification
