Medical Laboratory Technologist: Poplar

Northeast Montana Health Services, Inc., d/b/a Poplar Community Hospital, in Poplar, MT based hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist. Responsibilities include: performing basic bench work in all areas f the laboratory on clinical specimens; understanding basic quality control/ troubleshooting quality control problems; correctly registering patients, order, run and result tests in the hospital/laboratory information system; maintain CLIA regulations. Must possess knowledge of microbiology procedures and antibiotic use and selection. Report to the Director of Laboratory Services. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science/medical technology, one of the specialty areas, or one of chemical or biological sciences with at least two years of experience required. Must possess a nationally recognized license under ASCP, AMT, or NCA guidelines. Required to be licensed in the state of Montana as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
