Medical Laboratory Technologist/Medical Technologist

What You’ll Do

• Performs a wide range of laboratory procedures.
• Affords assistance to students and new team members regarding lab procedures.
• Participates in required education, competencies, and annual training.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
• Fulfills HIPAA compliance requirements.
• Recognizes variations in test results and determines their accuracy.
• Is familiar with lab equipment, operation, and problem-solving techniques.
• Follows all current and updated lab procedures and policies.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate or Bachelor's degree specializing as a Med Tech or Med Lab Tech.
• ASCP, AMT, HEW, or equivalent certifications required.
• New graduates welcome.
• No prior experience necessary.

Job Demands

• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Standing and/or walking for long periods.
• Adapting to a fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining focus and following complex protocols.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and testing procedures.
• Lifting over 35 lbs.
