Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Scientist

This role involves performing waived and non-waived laboratory tests accurately and efficiently under supervision, ensuring compliance with CLIA '88 and other regulatory standards. Responsibilities include assisting with specimen collection, receipt, and processing, while maintaining departmental accreditation and regulatory requirements. Key duties encompass following established policies, procedures, and professional standards to ensure quality and safety. Qualifications And Skills Exhibit personal maturity, responsibility, and effective communication skills. Work accurately with attention to detail, multitask, problem-solve, and follow instructions. Possess basic computer skills and demonstrate exceptional customer service. Maintain organization and perform detailed work even with interruptions. Minimum Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science or medical technology, or equivalent training/experience per CLIA regulations. Individuals in certain states must maintain certification. Foreign candidates require credential evaluation. Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy may be required. Preferred Qualifications MLT certification (e.g., ASCP, AMT), knowledge of specimen requirements, medical terminology, and experience with phlebotomy and specimen processing.
