Medical Laboratory Technician
About the role
The Medical Laboratory Technician implements the clinic's mission, goals and objectives by exemplifying the short- and long-term vision, values, and goals of the department by providing professional clinical laboratory science services including the performance of clinical laboratory testing, proficiency testing, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation, testing validation, testing management and other functions toward the attainment of these goals.

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, one of the specialty areas, or one of the chemical or biological sciences.
- National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire;
- National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists upon hire;
- National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts upon hire;
- National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire;
- National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire;
- National Laboratory Tech - United States Government upon hire.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a medical laboratory is preferred.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
