Medical Laboratory Technician

About the role

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position is available as a Night Shift Phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens from patients using venipuncture, capillary, and/or arterial techniques.
• Processes specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of patient information and specimen labels.
• Adheres to infection control protocols and maintains a safe work environment.
• Communicates effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection.

Requirements

• Associates of Science in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA.
• Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician or equivalent.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license.

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The posted compensation range is $28.10 - $41.80 /hour.

Schedule

This position is a Night Shift, 72 hours per pay period, with a weekly schedule of Days Varied - 06:00pm - 06:30am.
