Medical Laboratory Technician
Actalent is hiring for multiple Medical Laboratory Technician positions in the Columbus, Ohio area.
About the role
You will perform hands-on medical laboratory testing on patient samples, including phlebotomy for some patients. The role involves monitoring and operating high-tech instrumentation, reporting results accurately and rapidly, and practicing established safety procedures such as Universal Precautions. You will also perform routine and specialized maintenance on laboratory equipment and may teach laboratory procedures to other technologists and technicians.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or an equivalent field
- Willingness to obtain ASCP certification in the future
Pay
The pay range for this position is $26.00 – $28.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
