Responsibilities

• Perform technical laboratory functions including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Immunology, and Microbiology testing.
• Receive and process specimens, examine specimens, and record test results.
• Analyze results using knowledge of test principles and clinical significance.
• Analyze test quality per established performance standards.
• Provide test result information to approved callers and alert appropriate personnel to abnormal test results for immediate action.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, military training equivalency, or equivalent.
• Certification within 1 year of employment preferred by a nationally recognized professional registry.
• At least six months of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
