Medical Laboratory Technician 1 - Union

Join a team in a clinical laboratory setting, performing and reporting analyses of various specimens to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include: Obtaining accurate results by following established proceduresManaging multiple processes efficiently and completing tasks timelyProper specimen handling, identification, and accessioningRecognizing discrepancies and resolving issuesPerforming instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality controlReplenishing supplies and following reporting protocolsNavigating multiple computer applications and assisting in training new staffParticipating in ongoing education and maintaining competency Qualifications: Associate degree in laboratory science and certification or eligible as a Medical Laboratory TechnicianMilitary experience in relevant roles is welcomedSuccessful completion of competency exams Position Details: Night shift starting at 10 PM, every other weekend, and three holidays per year. This is a union position with a $12,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
