Medical Laboratory Scientist/ Technologist

Position Responsibilities

• Perform and report a variety of laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources.
• Function independently as a Generalist across laboratory departments.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and timeliness of test results.
• Aid with laboratory quality improvement projects.
• Participate in operational support activities to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.
• Adhere to all laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Education & Certifications

• Education: Doctoral, Master's, or bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution; or have earned an associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• Certification: ASCP certification preferred; CPR certification required.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant laboratory experience strongly preferred.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills.
• High attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently.

Hours, Wage & Benefits

• HOURS: 7 days on / 7 days off. Primarily: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday: 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM Saturday and Sunday: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM Rotating holidays required.
